Encourage your student to make the most of their ATC experience by getting involved in HOSA, SkillsUSA, or DECA!**
Club membership gives students opportunities to build leadership and teamwork skills, participate in community service, attend fun events, make connections, and strengthen their resumes.
Students who choose the regional/state/national membership level can also pursue competitions, conferences, and scholarship opportunities.
We offer different membership options so there’s a way for every student to get involved!
Take a look at the flyer for membership options and costs, and encourage your student to talk with their club sponsor or Mrs. Wright to get started.
💙💚 Help us get our students connected, involved, and making the most of their ATC experience!

Mrs. Wright volunteered to be the “patient” while CCATC nursing students practiced the skills needed to change an occupied hospital bed. That meant getting tucked in, rolled around and repositioned while the future nurses put their training to work.
The ladies did a great job, and Mrs. Wright was a very good sport.

The Carroll County Area Technology Center, iLead Academy, and JCTC will be OPEN and IN SESSION on Monday, September 21.
Please remember that our programs serve students from multiple school districts, so our calendar does not always match each district’s home high school calendar.
Carroll County students: Your district is not in session on September 21, so you are NOT required to attend. However, our building will be open, and you are always welcome to come in! This can be a great opportunity to get extra help, catch up on work, or have additional time in your program.
Students from other districts: Please follow your home district’s calendar and normal attendance expectations. We will see you Monday.

Marshall Ford representatives Brandy Strothman and Matt Foltz delivered 15 batteries to the automotive classroom today, providing students with materials they can use as they learn and practice skills in the automotive trade.
We appreciate local businesses like Marshall Ford that invest in our students and help provide real-world learning opportunities in our community.

Who is a Carroll County educator who goes above and beyond?
We have so many educators who give their time, talent and heart to help our students thrive. Now, our community has an opportunity to make sure their efforts are recognized beyond our schools.
The Ohio Valley Educational Cooperative is celebrating its 50th anniversary by celebrating our teachers. Three Carroll County educators will be selected as finalists for the Honoring Excellence Ceremony: 50 Educators. 50 Years. One Mission, with one educator receiving the award for our district.
We invite parents, families, students, colleagues and community members to nominate a Carroll County educator who invests in their students, continues to grow professionally and consistently goes above and beyond.
If someone comes to mind, take a few minutes to tell their story. Your nomination could help shine a light on an educator who deserves to be recognized.
Nominate a Carroll County educator at www.ovec.org/nominate.
The Honoring Excellence Ceremony will be held November 17 in Shelbyville.
