Students in fourth and eighth grades recently got to learn about classes and programs at the high school, iLEAD, ATC and JCTC. They also got to speak with several local employers during a career expo at the middle school. (More photos on the district Facebook page.)



You're never too old to celebrate Valentine's Day and compete for the best decorated box in the classroom. At least that's the spirit in Diane Glen's pre-nursing class at the Carroll County ATC. Students in the morning and afternoon classes celebrated the holiday.

A Town Hall will be held Feb. 22 at 6 p.m. at Carroll County Middle School to continue gathering input that will be used to draft a Strategic Plan for Carroll County Schools. Please come and share your input with us!

Madi Hicks and Ross Crawford were crowned Carroll County High School Homecoming Queen and King tonight. Congratulations to these Panthers!

Carroll County ATC Student Advisor Chad Rose learned how to weld today thanks to the help of Dillan Human and Lyric McKinney. Rose mentioned to them that he would like to learn to weld, so they offered to teach him.
“This was my first time holding a welding torch, so everything was new to me,” Rose said. “I learned how to set up my welding rod, how to strike an arc, how to lay a bead and several other things.”

Logan Perdue, Dillan Human, Lyric McKinney and Caleb Richardson have earned spots in the regional welding skills competition to be held in Frankfort next week. Good luck to these Carroll County Area Technology Center students!
