Pre-Nursing students at the Carroll County Area Technology Center used a game of Simon Says to learn range of motion exercises that are required skills in their Student Registered Nurse Assistant class/Medical Nurse Assistant class.
The skills include range of motion for shoulder, hip, wrist and elbow. Students will take a certification test in December that, if passed, will allow them to begin working in their career field.
They also practiced care skills such as feeding patients, transitioning from bed to wheelchair, helping dress patients and taking blood pressure.

Panther families, several local agencies are sponsoring a Christmas parade on Dec. 2. Please check out these flyers for details.

The Carroll County Area Technology Center's HOSA Chapter held a blood drive last week. The group organized the drive for students within the ATC and Carroll County High School. A total of 19 pints of blood was collected.

Black and Gold Night will be held next week to spotlight middle and high school basketball teams.
The boys and girls teams for seventh, eighth, JV and Varsity will play one quarter each on Tuesday, Nov. 14. Admission to the event is $5 for adults and $1 for students.
A chili supper will begin at 5 p.m. with games starting at 6 p.m.

Welding students at the Carroll County Area Technology Center are creating works of art as well as daily use items like animal feeders and dog boxes for pickup trucks.
